Special programme marking the end of Memorial Day for the fallen of Israel's armed forces and the victims of terrorism. Readings to commemorate Yom HaZikaron by Ester Golan, followed by a guest speaker Tzippi Porath who witnessed the creation of the State of Israel.

May 30, 2005 - Wednesday - 10:00 am – Bar/Bat Mitzva for the Special Child at Moreshet Yisrael
The Masorti Movement’s Bar/Bat Mitzvah for the Special Child program annually prepares over 300 children with special needs for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony. The program works with youth with special needs who would not otherwise benefit from Jewish enrichment classes, and provides an opportunity for them to be called up to the Torah.
