Support Moreshet Yisrael

There are a variety of ways in which you may support our synagogue. Above all, your attendance, interest and moral support ensure our continued well-being, growth and development. However, you may wish to make a much-needed financial contribution as well. The following are some of the ways you may find appropriate:

Donations to the synagogue may be directed to the General Fund or the Rabbi's Discretionary Fund. Donations may also be designated for one of the synagogues Outreach Programs:

"Havruta" - The Moreshet Yisrael Center for Jewish Culture, Jewish studies program for the Russian-speaking community.

The Moreshet Yisrael Lone & Needy Immigrant Soldiers Project.

Memorial Board -- You may wish to honor the memory of loved ones by having a light in Jerusalem burn on their yahrzeit and when yizkor is recited. A one-time contribution can be made to our synagogue so that your loved one's name can be placed on our permanently mounted memorial board and a candle lit at the appropriate times.

Gifts by will -- If you wish to remember our congregation in your will as a way of further contributing to its growth and vitality, the bequest should be made out in favor of: "BEIT KNESSET MORESHET YISRAEL, YERUSHALAYIM, Amuta no. 58-021-558-0." If you have already made such provision, please check to see that you have the correct name. You may correct your will by a simple codicil to insure your bequest to us.

For a tax deduction in the United States, US dollar checks should be made out to “The Masorti Foundation for Conservative Judaism in Israel”.

For a tax deduction in Canada, checks in either US$ or CAN$ should be made out to “The Canadian Foundation for Masorti Judaism”. Israel shekel checks should be made out to “Beit Knesset Moreshet Yisrael Yerushalayim”. No matter what method of payment you choose all checks should be mailed to Beit Knesset Moreshet Yisrael, P.O. Box 7456, 94265 Jerusalem, Israel.
