Weekly beit midrash & Jewish cultural programming for the Russian-speaking community. Co-sponsored by Moreshet Yisrael and Midreshet Yerushalayim. Guest lecturer Dr. Rafi Kasimov will discuss "Judaism and Islam."

Join students form the Conservative Yeshiva, Schechter Rabbinical Seminary, Seminario Rabinico, Jewish Theological Seminary, Hebrew Union College, Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, and Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies for a Kabbalat Shabbat with ruach.

Greet the Sabbath with Kabbalat Shabbat services led by our guests Hazzan Marlene Fuerstman and students of the Miller Cantorial School.

February 20, 2005 - Sunday Evening - 8:30 pm - Women's League "Meet the Artist" Evening

Women's League for Conservative Judaism and ITC Tours invites all Moreshet Yisrael members and friends to a "Meet the Artist" evening at the Sheraton Plaza Hotel, Jerusalem. Featured artists will be Sharon Binder, designer of the beautiful netilat yadayim mosaic in the Fuchsberg Center, and Moshe Braun, artist and scribe. The artists will speak about their work and have samples on hand. This program is free of charge.

Join Professor Alice Shalvi & the Women's League for Conservative Judaism at this year's Masorti Women's Study Day at the Netzach Yisrael Congregation in Ashkelon. Lectures and study sessions with Prof. Alice Shalvi, Rabbi Shira Yisrael, Dr. Jo Milgrom, Rabbi Monique Susskind Goldberg, Judith Edelman Green, Rabbi Claudia Kreiman, Fruma Brikner, Hanna Klebansky & Naomi Graetz.
